Affordable Housing

Since 1972, SIPA has supported the Filipino American community in what is now designated as Historic Filipinotown, Los Angeles. For over 20 years, SIPA has developed a track record for successfully developing and operating affordable housing communities in and around Historic Filipinotown and providing supportive services to residents.

The following units are included in SIPA’s portfolio.

Historic Filipinotown, Los Angeles

HiFi Collective is SIPA’s newest mixed use project that was developed in partnership with Linc Housing and opened in Fall 2022. With 63 units of permanent supportive housing on top, HiFi Collective houses SIPA’s headquarters and community center in the commercial space on the ground floor. It is a state of the art community center that will provide the surrounding community with direct services and includes a multipurpose room, culture and tech room and the John Eric Swing small business center, envisioned and curated by a team of Filipino American and Filipino advisors, artists, architects and designers.

Community Members who are unhoused and experiencing homelessness are encouraged to visit a shelter and ask to be registered to Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority's Coordinated Entry System (CES).
